If I had $900 I would probably still make my own, and then just take myself out to eat all the time to show off my RAD homemade Kaneda jacket. Ugh, but I have seen the replica and it’s so beautiful. I’ve wanted that jacket since I first saw the movie when I was 7 years old.
I’m not even going to tell you the catcalls I received in Manhattan when I lived there. It’s a shitty thing. If you are a lady chances are you know what it’s like to walk down the street and feel afraid of every dude you see thinking “is that guy on the corner going to say some shit to me? When I was 11 some military dudes tried to haul me into their car to have “fun” and I had to run and hide in a neighbor’s yard. When I was 14 some boys in high school called me a dumb slut for not letting them see me topless. When I was 18 I was chased through the metro in Madrid by a pack of 8 men at night and no one helped me. When I was 19 a man pulled up next to my car and jerked off while I was at a red light. This never stops an it never gets better. Stay educated. Please.
